Our office spoke with a gentleman last week who told us that he had been assaulted by an unknown person at a shopping plaza in the suburbs, and he wanted to know whether or not he had a case against anybody. The answer to that question is yes. A shopping center has a duty to maintain their premises in a safe fashion.
